[i]Hey Orgers, I havent posted anything in quite a while, but I'm so amazed that Prince got to do separate projects with 2 record companies at the end of the year. First with the S.S.T project with SONY, then the 3121 deal made this month. Makes me think did he originally plan to release 3121 through SONY since "3121" been mentioned since making "GlassCutter", and the live snippet of "Satisfied" downloadables @ NPGMC in the early months of this year.Umm, makes me wonder.

Hmmm... you might have a good theory there. It did seem strange that earlier in the year (January through March) he was inexplicitly promoting this 3121 thing with the LA parties and the 3121 shirt he wore at the NAACP Awards etc. Then from April through November there was almost total silence about it... Now it's December and he starts up with all this 3121 stuff again! Maybe he wanted to release it earlier but Sony didn't want to?? So he had to go to Universal??

or it could be that he was shopping for the 3121 deal back in the Spring, hyping it up
and that the "S.S.T." single was shopped differently -- a quick one-off single

Maybe he played "Te Amo Corazon" for the folks at Sony, and they decided to pass on the new project, altogether.
