PrintableI don't care for "Walk Don't Walk" off the "Diamonds And Pearls". I also don't like that one slow song from Parade that talks about Christopher Tracy dying. "Arms of Orion" doesn't do it for me, and neither does "Hello" the B-Side where he sings about his run in with the paparazzi. But the song I hate the worst by Prince is "Poom Poom Poom". RAAAAALPH!!!!! Hey! I love a great majority of the work he's done over the years, but these songs I'm just not feeling. | |

Shame on you not liking Sometimes It Snows In April (slow song at end of Parade). Sometimes life ain't always the way. It's a beautiful little song with depth and sincerity. Shut up already, damn. | |

For You: I'm Yours - only becuase his vocals seems so muffled.
Prince: Still Waiting - like it, but just seems outta place on this Cd and not exactly Prince's style, I always suspected he had some 'help' writting this one, or someone else wrote it Dirty Mind: Sister - its a bit disturbing lyrically, but musically it rocks following "Head", no pun intended on that Controversy: Jack U Off - Sounds like a B-side. One of the outtakes from this era would have topped this album better, the version of "Tick Tick Bang" from this era comes to mind. 1999: Little Red Corvette - Yeah I know...how can this be my least fave on this album...it isn't, I can't really find one, its just that this song really is overplayed commercially for me for some reason Purple Rain: Another one of those albums, u can't throw anything out...but if I really really had to pick my least favorite, it would be "The Beautiful Ones"...but its also at times my FAVORITE from the album...That's a toughie Around the World in a Day: Condition Of The Heart - Love the song, but it does feel outta place on this and only a real admirer of Prince's music could really dig this, probably would be a CLASSIC outtake if we had never heard it on the album, maybe even would have suited as a B-Side, imagine if it traded places with "She's Always In My Hair" Parade: Do U Lie? - Just a bit silly on this..but u gotta love it. Sign of the Times: It's Gonna Be A Beautiful Night - Again, its a staple on SOTT - but how do u pick a turd??? Lovesexy: Eye No - Just a lot going on in this song, makes it sound a little sloppy and not a good album opener. Batman: Trust - Seeing this done on Billboards just made this song suck. Grashitti Bridge: Graffiti Bridge - this song just doesn't bite me, it just bites Diamonds & Pearls: Jughead. Nuff Said Symbol CD: The Flow - Just too Tony M - should have put it on Gold Nigga The Hits: Pope - Dippy Dippy Dope... Nice song, but its not Prince. Come: Orgasm - but for a real song - Letitgo, my least fave on this album and when I heard it as the lead off single I knew the album wasn't gonna go anywhere, he sat on too many of these songs for too long for this album to do anything, I mean we heard the whole damn album before it came out adn they were all classics at the time. Black Album: 2 Nigs - Great jam track - Better for madhouse or B-side Gold Experience: We March - makes u wonder whree the fuck is Days Of Wild!??!?! Girl 6: Girl 6 - I dont know...seems like a useless album. Chaos & Disorder: Right The Wrong - Just not my fave on this album and I actually like this Cd a lot! Emancipation: EASY - 2 songs - Damned If I Do and White Mansion - These are hands down 2 songs I never liked. Crystal Ball: Tell Me How U Wanna Be Done - Was this really necesarry after "The Purple Medley" The Truth : 3rd Eye - ehh!! New Power Soul: I Like Funky Music - Sounds like fake funk to me. The vault: My Little Pill - why? Rave: Silly Game - Not a big favorite - can handle it tho Rainbow Children - Wedding Feast N.E.W.S: South - I like it all tho CNOTE: Tokyo - Just cuz him singing Tokyo through it seems silly, should have left it all an instrumental Xpectation - They all actually sound great together, i think the Turd of it all was not putting on a studio version of Xenophobia Musicology: Reflection - ONLY because we had the song from the club for so long, that it sounded like filler, if he would have replaced it with a different version similiar to what he did on the Tavis Show I would have enjoyed its inclusion better The Chocolate Invasion: Underneath The Cream - a little boring Slaughterhouse: Tie - Hypnoparadise and Golden Parachute One Night Alone: Have A Heart One Night Alone Live: Wanna B Your Lover - Just too short....fucking tease!
