He isn't really.
And I don't know what kind of argument it is to say that Bowie was doing jam sessions when Prince was still shitting into his diapers.

It's called truth.

I've seen Bowie give Prince props in MANY interviews, especially in the last six or seven years.

I remember reading a chat where Prince was asked questions by fans several years ago, that someone asked him about Bowie and whether or not they would ever collaborate. Prince's response was "U should have been there".

If all you know is "Let's Dance" you have no business trying to say how much the man has done.

He's recorded from 1964-2003 almost non-stop. everything from hard rock to jazz to R&B. He was the 1st whitey on Soul Train...

- Good! Yes, that´s what I said I should listen more to him, because Let´s dance doesnt show these skills. But I think a musician should be judged by his entire career...it´s the same thing of a person who only listened to ´Batman´ soundtrack say that P is not such a great multi-instrumentalist...

If u wanna recommend some Bowie stuff, I´d appreciate. I am specially curious for his jazz approach...

young americans - R&B
station to station - Rock
black tie white noise - Jazzish
buddha of suburbia - Rock/Jazzish/Pop

Yes, those are good examples. of course, if you would like to branch out, try:

Tin Machine (Hard Rock)
Outside (Concept piece)
Reality (Newest)
Heathen (Last CD)
Love You Till Tuesday (Folk-ish)
Space Oddity (60's psychedelic-ish)
Ziggy Stardust/Aladdin Sane (Glam)
Low/Heroes (Selected ambient tracks, plus a rock/pop sound for the rest)

The thing about Bowie is there is a CD that anyone can dig, if they open their minds to it. The only thing that is constant is his voice.

He even has a rap-like song (African Night Flight)...
