Yeah, where did this Talking bout him being Old come from? A man is old at 47? WHERE? He may not be 21 but he Ain't Over and Down for the Count. As long as he's Viable and Cool. And he Definitely is Still Cool. It Really Pisses me Off..Old My ASS! | |

By the time we settle into mellower grooves like he's doing now he'll probably be doing his wildest music ever. I think his next CD will surprise everybody and be his best in years. It's possible Prince is just trying on a different hat right now-- the polished showman. Maybe he'll get tired of it. Like any other phase of his I take it for what it's worth. Sure part of it is that he's maturing, but I would hope he doesn't just coast for the next 30 years (God willing). Who knows? Like somebody else said as artists we do our more twisted, experimental works in our twenties before our priorities shift to other things (and the good ideas run out). A marriage and family requires a stability that constantly re-inventing yourself won't allow. That's just how things are unless you allow your art to dominate your life forever.
