As for being a judge - X-Factor/Pop Idol is about choosing a the 'perfect' marketable manufactured pop act - whilst Prince has done some packaging himself in the past with his protege acts, Prince is a million miles away from Simon Cowell, who is an A&R man, completely different kettle of fish.
