I'm in total agreement on this particular song. There is something about the way Prince's multitracked voice hits that "now isn't it a shame" that just gives me chills. I also dig the way that it seems like the melody might get away at any moment. This was the secret weapon of the Around the World... album for me, the song that slapped my face for ignoring it all those years. Ohhhhh this is an amazing song.
Gives me goosebumps and tears in my eyes. I love his ballads. I mean altho I love his naughty side and all the sexy stuff, his ballads are so touching and so unique. His voice.....OMG. 100 out of 10 for this song. Really. I am so hoping he will release something that will shake me up from inside like this song.
