What do you think about Prince going back into acting, but this time not in HIS movies?

I just got done watching a movie called "The House Of D" with David Duchovny. It had Erykah Badu in it, and she did a good job!

I'd like to see Prince have small bit roles in dramatic pieces.

What do you think?

acting...nah. brotha should do a voiceover cameo on the boondocks or something along that line though, probably. that'd be kinna cool.

I said he should awhile ago. I think he could do a Bio on a MUSICIAN. I think he Could play in SOMEBODY ELSE"S FILM. He probably should to PROVE HE CAN ACT which he KNOWS he Can.... FUNNY STORY to STAR IN???? THE RICK JAMES MOVIE.....

Wouldn't that be a KICK? AND BIGGER KICK would be if PRINCE won say a GOLDEN GLOBE or Academy AWARD for That CHARACTERIZATION....WOULD PRINCE BE ALLOWED by RICK'S FAMILY? Think of this FILM? OR what about it as a TV MOVIE? A GOLDEN GLOBE or PEOPLE'S CHOICE going to PRINCE as RICK would be WITHOUT WORDS.Hey ANDY, he could do a ALMOST SECOND PURPLE RAIN and he could get into the GIRL'S GROUP and DENISE MATTHEWS and The LINDA BLAIR AFFAIR and Basically PRINCE Could do an EXPOSE on THE DANGERS OF DRUGS. I doubt it. They know Rick would come up out of that coffin and come after all of them and Prince too. Prince would be seeing "The Dawn" quicker than he thought.

I can just see Vanity as one of The Mary Jane Girls. I think she's the one that blabbed about them in the first place so Rick would have something extra special waiting for her.

Actually, Prince fighting zombie Rick James would be a pretty good movie. "Funk of the Dead" or "Cold Blooded: The Funk of 40,000 Years".

I think having a small part in a movie, or doing a soundtrack again the way he did Batman, might be good for him. It would give him a different perspective to approach music as a writer. I hate to use this as an example, but I remember when the Goo Goo Dolls song "Iris," from 'City of Angels' came out, the lead singer said he'd had terrible writer's block and couldn't finish their new album. But writing for a movie, looking through the eyes of a different character, opened him up to new ideas.

Yes, it's the Pumpkin PIe Working MY Brain....I can see Comedy and stuff...He's great in Comedic roles and I also think he's Great at DRAMA.

Prince on the Boondocks would be hilarious! I can see him and grandpa gettin into it now ! The difference between P and someone like E.Badu and Mos Def is, Prince would have to be (how can I say...) less of himself to be believable in a dramatic role that otherwise has nothing to do with who he is to the world. That means no heels, no flashy suits, and less makeup than he is used to. I'm not sayin he can't be real but, can u see him in a cameo (not as a musician) on Law and Order CI and blending in?

Well, actors wear Wigs and use Prosthetics. He could do it.
