PrintableRecently, I get I little bit bored of 1999, still my favorite P. album.
But I discovered that Dirty Mind is a great album  .
And Purple Rain is growing in me.How could P record that wonderful album after the other one 
I am very confortable now with the early 80s albums

There are periods when I get tired of Prince too.I felt this way in the late 90s.Around that time,I started to explore newer bands/artists like Jamiroquai and Lauryn Hill.It's okay to "take a break" from listening to an artist.Open your mind and discover other artists/bands and styles of music. | |

I'll Never be Over him,but how in this world can you NOT listen to Other Groups? Unless ya Dead and don't watch Any TV or listen to Radio. I suppose if ya just listen to his Cds in the car. But in this world I think you are going to go to clubs and hear Other artists. So what do you do just download and Never buy Their stuff? I suppose some FANS do Just That. | |

I'll NEVER be over Prince. Sometimes I wish I could because it's a thankless task in this day and age.
Ever since 1987 when a friend of mine made me a mixed tape and I just fell into some Prince-like addiction.. It's so bad for me. My friends say to me. 'You need to get over him. He's sooooo 8o's' Or 'You need to start listening to some other music'. But whenever I do I still want to run and stick a Prince CD on. Don't know what it is. I've got it bad...! People who are ova him dont listen to him.
U cant just listen to his regular CD releases. They're too contrived. Also like some have said u need to listen to all the other crap out there to see how much more interesting he is... | |
