 I don't know what my mother was thinking..lol. But let me tell you she was more shocked by Prince than she was by Rick.She had no idea that he was going to be performing in nothing but a trench coat, thigh highs, bikini underwear and high-heeled boats  .That was the day I fell in love with Prince. It was all she wrote after going to that concert. I was hooked.
The only thing I remember about Rick's performance was that part of his stage setup were 2 giant blunt props at opposite ends of the stage and that he had everyone flick their lighters and 'fire it up.'
My mom and I laugh about it to this day. | |

i saw prince when i was 16 in 1984 at the genesis center in GARY,IND...my brother took me and my friend....the tickets were $12 dollars...i forget
who else was there....but i remember being mad cause we had crappy seats...so when people started leaving...me and my friend and some other girls ran up front and started saying encore encore...and he came back out and started singing another song...i forget what it was...but i must have been loud as hell when i was screaming his name cause he looked right at me i almost died... i know that was long ...but i always wanted to tell this story... | |
