hey my name is chris i live in sydney australia....always liked prince works but becoming christain in last 2 years i have seen more in his music .....but i have specific questions and i need help.....i was watching cable tv and 2 saturdays saw a mesmerising performance and i need help to confirm what i saw and how i can get the music.....ok this is sketchy but here goes ....i think it was called some like "raveunto 2000 .....but he did mention the name "excelsior" (a hotel he played at?) the "love symbol" was in the background, he looked good and played even better .....The parts that got me sounded like "purple rain" at the start but had a dancer on stage and beams of light behind her , it went on for sometime as a (to me) different song but led into an ending of purple rain .....next he spoke of a song for "the greatest man who ever lived" or something along those lines .....he had a choir behind him and one his band a guitar player , a afro american(ithink , forgive me if wrong) of obvious outstanding ability sang a verse , and from what i have tried to look up i think the name of that song was "the cross"..... guys i never join websites and was frustrated i had to wait to be able to post , but the show and more specifically those 2 songs was just awesome .....i looked up his website but found it confusing, or maybe cause i was doing it from australia , all i know is what to see/hear it again because the show was great but those 2 in a row blew me away .....help me lol , gbless to you all

Sounds like the RaveU2the Year 2000 dvd. The gospel choir in question were the Sounds of Blackness.
