I think, what did it for me, was seeing just how much command he actually had; even at that 'early' stage. He owned that stage. worship

It's always fascinating to read the old skoolers' comments - I love reading about their experiences - and, though it'll never compare to being there, it was fantastic to actually see what all the fuss was about. That must've been a crazy time to have been a Prince fan.

Those performances of Controversy, Lady Cab Driver and, especially, 1999 - drool

I just saw the Ritz DVD, also (I'm guessing you all got it the same place I did)...

It was very cool to see the early stuff live.
