Tora Tora - "This is Glam Slam, Where all the Nasty People Go"??? What the fuck is up with this???
Anyone know anything about this Tora Tora thing? It's at the end of the Glam Slam Miami DVD...

Tora Tora was an alter-ego Prince created to "disguise" his involvement on the Exodus album from WB. They didn't buy it, and they sued him. He settled out of court, eventually creating a deal where WB could distribute Exodus (they later cancelled the album release on their label).
The clip you are mentioning was a video "wallpaper" for the Glam Slam clubs to run on their monitors. The wallpaper is set to music (I guess in case the DJ wants to get real lazy), but was basically designed to be a background visual for the clubs. I put it on (with the sound off and other music running on my stereo) once at a party. It was fun to watch drunk people try to puzzle out what the hell they were watching!

It thanks  , and has a small blurb about him appearing courtesy of WB, even though they did not give him permission to do so. I think he was just going to claim he had done some production on it or what-not, but WB weren't fooled (and really, who was?)
