The album version could be alot better.

i think the remix you are talking about is the "Die 4 U" by space cowboy. It sounds very Daft Punk. i personally really like the song but at the same time i feel funny listening to prince covers.

Another good remix that went out a while back is the peter black dub and purple mix of Controversy...

radio ones essential mixes has had almost all of them on there as well as All The Critics Love U in NY and Annie Christian (neither are remixed but worked into the set nicely)
