Like many artists Prince sells things. You'd think he'd seel a cologne or perfume but he went further. He went on selling condoms. It was on the internet somewhere he wa selling The Purple Condom. And to top it all off it came in a CD case. Don't know if they still sell them.

The Purple Raincoat condom turns up on ebay every now and again.

I bought them at a concert in 95 and i now have 6 children.....fuckin figures doesnt it?

Actually I think he sold "Get Wild" Perfume or Cologne I'm not sure which.
Anyway thankfully the condoms are currently discontinued.
I thought they were downright tacky, cheesy, & creepy.
It's not rare for a musician to create and sell perfume or colonge but
contraceptives!!!!????
I see that like him putting a picture of his own face on a diaphram.
It just dosen't sit well with me.

YEp Prince sold condoms,Cologne, postcards, mirrors and a load of other stuff when he had a shop in Camdem Town London back in the day.

Also gave out books of matches at his nightclub 'Glam Slamm' in MPLS both have now closed which is a shame. I used to meet a load of prince friends at his shop, then go round Camdem Market buying up every thing we could.
Its a shame but the old camden that i knew is almost gone its all gone commercial

You should never use an old condom. Alternatively, you can consider just having sex with nice girls instead of prostitutes.

CONDOMS have EXPIRATION DATES on them. They also Break and Melt with EXTREME HEAT and they tell you NEVER USE VASELINE with THEM... But ya Know CONDOMS BREAK so ALWAYS use ANOTHER METHOD ALSO.

The GLAM SLAM MINNEAPOLIS club used to sell CONDOMS on the wall. CLUBS should ALWAYSSell CONDOMS.....JUST in CASE ya gONNA get WILd In the BATHROOMS like ya USED TO.

Every once and a while I run across this comdom thred and it make me laugh. Back in the day I recived a phone call a friend and she was so excited that her company was going to design a condom rapper for prince.

Of course I tild her to bring everythingf to my house so I colud see what there was to work with.

So It was I who came up with the Purple Raincoats name and CD lay out. I even went as far as making a tracklist for the CD. There is also a cover that just has the symbole on the matchbook cover.

I still have a bunch of them in my Prince wallet from back in the day.
