The Drum pattern follows WDC very well if you slow Doves down. Plus, no bass guitar!!! So, if you think Drums and bass then you can easily see the similarities. I know this because I mixed the PCD vocals over the top of When Doves Cry and it sounded very smooth... Similar but different... | |

If it's the Cee Lo of Goodie Mob (there may be someone that spells their name lie that, you never know), then yes. He's a big fan. Have you heard his Toyota Corolla spots? They sound like catchy songs. I actually like a commercial! I'll be singing them like they are a record. And I know that spot is helping out Toyota a bit! its the toms that sound like When Doves Cry, the synth chord (or note) which is held long sounds like Hot Thing, the chorus echoing the lead vocal sounds like Kiss, the theme/message sounds like Vanity 6....
