"The Unhived Mind" : (Released 1st Quarter 2006) So what exactly is an "unhived mind?" It's a mind that's not obsessed with bees and their homes. And likewise, an album with that name would be the very opposite of Dirty Mind.

"The Unhived Mind" : (Released 1st Quarter 2006) So what exactly is an "unhived mind?" I have this from a very reliable source. A friend of mine has a friend who's best friend's mom is friends with a woman who's son works for a company that provides janitorial services for Paisley Park. This guy sometimes has a beer after work with a woman who is the sister of a guy who is tightly connected to the inner Purple Circle. Here's what's been going on: We haven't heard much from Prince this year because he has been experiencing a crisis of faith. Becoming disenchanted with the JW doctrince, he began searching for a deeper truth. While in rehab following his hip replacement surgery, he watched a Star Trek: The Next Generation marathon and realized the cosmic truths inherent in the writings of Gene Roddenberry. Energized by this spiritual epiphany, he has shaved his head to emulate Captain Picard, tore down his house to make way for a full scale replica of the Starship Enterprise, and spent three weeks straight in the studio without food, water or sleep, driven by a compulsion to create an album based on his newfound Truth. Here's the track listing: 1. The Academy 2. Replicator 3. The Ready Room (rumored to be highly erotic) 4. Techno-Babble-On-And-On-And-On 5. Assimilation is Futile 6. The Collective Mind 7. The Question of Q (a remake of an old favorite a la The Cross/The Christ) 8. Earl Gray, Hot 9. The Question of Hugh 10. Warp Speed 11. Make It So 12. The Unhived Mind Hidden Track: Stardate 3121 I've gone to find myself. If I should return before I get back, keep me here.

Two other possibilities I just realized, regarding 3121.
When the person who created the one playlist wrote that number, it was written 31:21. This could refer to a Bible scripture, as in Proverbs 31:21, which reads as follows: She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. However, that Christian tracklist is quite off-putting. It's not time for another Rainbow Children. The other possibility actually relates to the song 2020. This could have something to do with an important date that is being predicted, for example on December 31, 2021. Could be apocalyptic in nature (like 1999) These are just possibilities, don't hate on me for it.

I found this article on the album, I cant find the link anymore (I shouldve bookmarked it) but its from a retail site. When Prince "died" in 1993, Warner Bros released Come the following year, an eerie album containing the final recordings of the artist before his death. Although Warner Bros would soon find a droppleganer of the deceased artists, one who with a non-numberical, non-alphabetical symbole for a unprounceable name, they knew they could never replace the original. The Minneapolis-born pop-funk legend left a thick musical catalogue that would shadow most the artist's lifetime work. Fast-foward to the 21st century - a time when the estates of dead artists unveil a steady flow of remaining, lost and unfinished recordings with a modern-day twist to appeal to the general pop audience. However, The Remix Eperience is something a bit different. Along the lines of 2pac's Nu-Mixx Klazzics and The Notorious B.I.G.'s Duets: The Final Chapter, for this release, Warner Bros has gathered many popular songs from Prince's catalogue, lifted the vocal tracks and furnished them with entirely new beats from created by some of the industry's top producers. Accentuating the remixes are special guest spots from some of music's popular vocalists and MCs. Many outtake remixes for this album are currently in circulation, several of which are a Jermaine Dupri-produced "Insatiable", Mariah Carey-featuring "Joy In Repetition" and Kirk Franklin-assisted "New Power Nation." ~ Ashmir ~
