UTCM - underrated! Just watched the UTCM again after so many years... Can't believe that this movie gets so much hate! I was impressed. It's a fun comedy. Prince was great IMO... acting and directing.
Wish the music score was available... not just the soundtrack. | |

I don´t care what others say, I LOVE this movie.
As far as I recall salon.com had the only positive review about this underrated little gem. Great film, really. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?" | |

Which Theater? There were only 2 in Brooklyn that always played his STUFF One was THE KINGSWAY....The OTHER KINGS PLAZA. I actually and this is OBSESSIVE was outta town..I MADE my MICHAEL JACKSON COUSIN COME with me in this other STATE. I RAN BACK to NYC and say it 2 More times before it was gone. I ACTUALLY CUT MY TRIP SHORT to SEE IT IN NY with the NY AUDIENCE. Plus I had to have the REVIEWS from NYC. I have ALWAYS BEEN a NUT like THAT.  | |

I went and saw this in the theater on my 16th birthday and loved it. I still watch it from time to time and always enjoy it. I would like to see it in it's color version one day. | |

i saw color pics and stills from the movie too...it's just as beautiful in color as it is in black and white.especially the pic when prince is on the deck during "Alexa De Paris".

It is a great movie, light hearted and entertaining - Fave bit...."You did it to mary's mom, You did it to Mary's mom...."
