I found/bought a Prince(?) album today for $12.97

It's titled "94 East Featuring Prince: Just Another Sucker"

I've heard of 94 East, I think.

The tracklisting is as goes:

The only song that sounds familiar is "One Man Jam" otherwise, I've never heard anything else...Insight please?

JUST an old set of demos from the v early 70s...quite dull and has been repackaged a million times.

I actually remember hearing "Just another sucker" on the radio back in the day.

Yes, "Just Another Sucker" did get some R&B airplay back when the album was first released in the 80s. That's by far the best track on the album. I don't regret buying it. Just don't fool yourself into thinking it's a Prince album.

I like the chart he has drawn up though.

Especially the way the important years are given full justice, and those other years ... the ones when Prince was scoring such a success (undoubtedly based on Mr Willie's mentoring) are compressed into a small afterthought, whilst Pepe was making available his magical recordings to the world.

He also rather modestly doesn't cramp up the chart by including the various re-releases he has rehashed for the world to enjoy.

And, unfortunately, he forgot to leave room at the end for the time the master tapes went up on Ebay, but didn't reach the reserve. Surely that was another groundbreaking moment in the great musical partnership of Prince and Pepe?

Yep its crap , i found a copy in spain about 8 years ago , got exited because i thought i had found something rare ,think its under my bed now or somewhere .

Good choice to have in your collection. I have had it for several years now. I must admit that I have only listened to it twice, but you really can't call yourself a "Prince aficionado" without one of these obscure CDs in your collection.
