I LOVE PRINCE the BEST,BUT JIMMY PAGE in MY OPINION is THE BEST GUITAR PLAYER EVER!!! He is TREMENDOUS. I CANNOT LIE about this...

I love both. Jimmy Page created some of the best guitar moments (specially riffs) of the century, but in terms of style, I prefer to listen to Prince soloing (although Stairway to Heaven solo is perfect).

I think BLACK DOG and KASHMIR has got to be the BEST JAMS.Ya gotta see PAGE when he uses that VIOLIN STICK on the GUITAR,.....Prince Blew it away doing WHOLE LOTTA LOVE at the MUSICOLOGY TOUR and when he did BEAUTIFUL STRANGE with the COLOR Wheel at CELEBRATION 2002 I was SO OVERTAKEN by HIS GUITAR PLAYINg. PRINCE FUCKS ME and YOU with his GUITAR PLAYING EVERY TIME... WATCh the UNDERTAKER and MAN,O MAN if ya WERE TRIPPIN you would FREAK. Not to CONDONE IT ,BUt I UNDERSTAND his TRIPPINESS When ya HIGH and his PLAYIN LIKE THAT....EXCELLENT STUFF MAN....REALLY IS!

tehicly prince is 10 times better guitar player then page.
prince is much flexibile ,you feel more rhythm in his guitar solos while jimmy page isnt great solist but very good riff maker

Prince is a great rock guitar player... and has a distinctive soloing style...

But I find his rhythm guitar playing even more impressive... It meshes with the drums and bass so well... perfectly in sync (DMSR, 1999, LCD for example).

Well i would always choose prince, even if he wasnt as good a player. Because i like his music and am not a fan of led zeppelin. So i would rather listen to prince either way. BUT!! He is better.

i'll never understand why ya'll compare prince to other guitarists,he plays his axe, they play thiers. there's no who's better at it, a true musician and a true Music lover would not compare musicians.

A "true" musician can see a difference.
