It had none of that pop pop pop stuff on it. I mean, Come one??? D&G and Versace don't market to the hood. MC Hammer had a better chance of pulling off gansta than our boy.

Basically, from GB to today, Prince has been guilty of being cheesy so many times. Not that he wasn't before, but at least it was good cheese. - I agree..in the 80s he had cheesy/kitsch moments, but they had a "freak charm"... But I can´t complain...in the last years he is a little bit "cleaner", it seems.

I don't think the "Arms of Orion" is that cheesy. It's called a "pop ballad". He's done far cheesier stuff than that. I like the song.

Pop, Pop, Pop, Go Da Pistol, Bang, Bang, Bang, Go Da Gun Throw up the Love Sign that video shoulda been sponsored by kraft, it was so cheesy. I like that video. It harkens from the 80s when videos actually had some storylines and something to do with the song. Ice Cube directed it.

"Betcha By Golly-ma-wow!" is a tough one to beat, for sure.
The unreleased song "Snowman" is a pretty damn corny too, altough it was Nona Gaye's lyric about his dad, but still... I mean have some decency.

PurpleRein said: I believe this was filmed around the time that Prince's wife was expecting. That's why he's at the hospital, celebrating the impending birth of their child. As it turned out, the child was born with a fatal malformation, and died shortly thereafter. Care to rethink the use of the word cheesy?
No way! I said the video was cheesey, not the death of his baby. Someone always has to come along and take a fun thread, WAY too seriously. Chill out ...anywho, I'd like to add to the list the little "split-bounce thing" he does during the Baby Im a Star performance in Purple Rain. He gaves a little wink at the camera and it makes me laugh every time If you will, so will I

@ (hummingbird speed ass shake) The very last bit of Purple Rain where the light rods run up his guitar and simulate ejaculation, its cheesy but also very funny especially as Prince ssms to b truly happy when he does it! 17 Years ago I made a commitment to Prince

I heard that he gave out pizza to NPG Music Club ticket holders at either a concert or party or something or other. Hell, this is a Prince party, not a five year old's birthday party. Did he give out party hats and did they all play pin the tail on the donkey too? Hell, he should have been giving out alcohol and condoms. The pizza should have been given out afterwards so everyone could sober up and drive home. Andy is a four letter word.
