Can't too many... Little REd Corvette.....When Doves Cry..... ADORE...

1. "Head": Because it's funky as hell. It wasn't available on 45 so it was the first time I bought a Prince album. I didn't even know what the word "Head" meant yet. When I found out, I loved it even more because ain't nothing better than head.

2. "Let's Work": Because it's funky as hell. Great intro, great synthesizers, great bass, and it even has a chant in the middle. The 12 Inch is my alltime favorite 12 Inch also. I have great memories of my old skating rink days when the DJ used to mix the sirens from the 12 Inch of "You Dropped A Bomb On Me" with "work it....work it....work it....ahhhh....till you're crucified....work it....Controversy....."

3. "Lady Cab Driver": Once again, because it's funky as hell. The guitar playing is great on this one. I love the sex act in the middle. I love the synthesizer part in the middle followed by the guitar solo. My favorite part is the breakdown towards the end with the gargling sound and echoed handclaps.

Eye Hate U-- Maybe the greatest song ever written. It has every element of a great Prince song: Emotion, falsetto ballad, angst, Powerful guitar solo, SEX.

Gett Off-- Cool as shit..no further explanation is needed.


The Beautiful Ones-- Gripping, screaming, emotional, and fucking brilliant.

Not sure, but I'll give you my favorites from each of my fav Top 3 Prince albums:

1. Automatic -- pure synth heaven, cool studio work
2. Alphabet St. (this is not music, this is a trip) 12" mix
3. When We're Dancing Close & Slow -- unique romanticism
