i remember seeing the video for this on friday night videos back in the day...plus Q-102 (top 40 crap station in my hometown) would play it on the radio as well. i was only about 6 at the time, but i loved it. i still dig it to this day.

This is an easy one. Shiela E`s tits in the video. This was the first we got to see of them after her boob job. And I must admitt that they (meaning her boobs) rock. When she comes walking out in the beginning of the video with the rest of the band; WHEW!!!!! Ive always said that of all of Prince`s drummers, Ms. E. has the best tits (next to Michael B. of course).

I have fond memories of U Got the Look because until it was released as a single and video, SOTT seemed dead as an album in the mainstream. Same thing for 7... months of waiting for some splash the symbol album could make and then this.

The U Got the Look video, while not terribly good, is charming. In these days, Prince put the wool on his back instead of his back cover/inside sleeve.

I remember Sheena Easton zoomin' in that little convertable to get to the Prince concert.

Patti Labelle designed the outfit that Sheila E. is wearing in the video.

Supposedly, while in LA laying down tracks in a studio late one nite Prince came up with U GOT THE LOOK. He calls Sheena Easton at 2:00 AM and asks her to come down to the studio and do some back ground vocals. He plays the song for her one time and then he's ready to record. Sheena says she was messing up all over the place but Prince liked it. After he played back the vocals he liked it so much that he turned the performance into a featured vocal instead of background vocals.
