Do you think Prince could ever pull that off?

I was having a glass of wine and listening to LedZep, The Song Remains The Same, last nite and was wondering if Prince could pull that off?
When I first heard him do Whole Lotta Love, I almost froze, almost scared to hear how it would turn out. It's a legendary song, by legendary artists and one of my all time favorites as is The Song Remains The Same. I would personally LOVE to hear him try this one out

NO! but would LOVE if HE would do STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN.....THE BEST ZEP song EVER....COME ON PRINCE...do STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN.....ZEl wants Ya TO.....His Voice can Do it and I Would Love to hear the High Parts ...Wouldn't U? Actually, Zel, NO! There are some songs I would NOT want to hear performed by other artists and ONE IS Stairway To Heaven. Same as I would not want to hear another artist perform "Purple Rain". Some songs are best left where and by whom they came from. But because of the guitar in TheSongRemainsTheSame, I really wonder if Prince can do that

No words to even discribe this man. AMAZING! Totally AMAZING!

I saw Page and PLANT AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN in I think 1998. It was AMAZING...What a SHOW.....GREAT!!! PAGE is The Best GUITARIST EVER!

WHOLE LOTTA LOVE was covered at the musicology date i went to and it was frigging awwwwweeeesssssooooome. However, i think the live cover was far more amazing due to his on-stage strength as a performer. LZ would be a hard act to follow-- and i think if P would've done it justice, it woulda been earlier, before he got into his adult contemporary, pass the sacrament segment of his career.

Actually, I would like to hear him play any of the songs from Billy Joel's Piano Man CD. There are some flourishes there that P could nail.

Stairway to heaven would be a perfect song for Prince to do, if he modernised it a bit.
