Instead of the usual "Oh, Prince should do an album with Michael... or Madonna... or Kate Bush..." I have an unusual pairing that would be truly interesting:
Prince and Steely Dan.

Neither one of them seems particularly willing to compromise.

Prince and Dave Grohl, Josh Homme and Jack Black. That is a session I would pay with my soul to see.

i'd love to see prince pair up with a really edgy and energetic young funk band like !!! or Out Hud, kind of in the same spirit as bowie hooking up with arcade fire...of course, that would never happen, but if it did...wow.
