Lovesexy's best What are your fave songs on Lovesexy if any? I know some people here don't care for the album. For those, what song are you most able to listen to?
I think this is one of Princes better flowing and upbeat albums. GLAM SLAM is possibly one of his happiest tunes ever. The end rocks, it sounds like an orchestra (not sure if it is, not a musically inclined gal), but I love that part. When 2 R in Luv is simply sweeter than sugar. It's such a Puupy love song.....and the vocals alone cause tooth decay. Same with I wish you Heaven. Who were these songs written for? Singing along with the album in it's entirety can give one a sore throat, with the pitch he uses.....still I love it. I don't think any other artist has an album quite like this. It's heavenly. I feel like I'm in the clouds surrouded by ferries playing harps or something. It's awesome! | |

Anna Stesia is the best song on the album and a career highlight for Prince
but I really love the entire album from beginning to end. it's such a rush! and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |

One of my favourite albums ever ..... i LOVE it all except DANCE ON , which is actually 1 of my least favourite Prince songs of ALL TIME (along with 1 or 2 others i wont mention)

in spite of all the bad mouthing this album got and it's supposed mark of the beginning of Prince's downfall, I like several songs off of it. I liked the complex arrangements, I liked his ever increasing vocal ability and his use of live instruments. Alphabet St. Dance On, Anna Stesia, Positivity, oh hell, pretty much the whole album worked for me, anyone saying different is just too picky. | |
