There is no way Prince could b knighted according 2 British protocol!! Britain does not knight foreigners!! Foreigners can b given HONOURARY knighthoods, like in the case of the late US President Ronald Reagan, but they CANNOT use them in their names like for example SIR Paul MacCartney or SIR Elton John can!! Also, foreigners cannot use CBE, OBE, MBE, etc. in their names either!!!

Everybody calls him Sir Bob because he has the honorary knighthood, but technically he shouldn't be referred to as 'Sir' because only British subjects can be awarded a full knighthood and get the title of 'Sir'. Officially, he should be referred to as Bob Geldof KBE. So he does have a knighthood, but he's not 'Sir bob'. Then again, he's been called Sir Bob for so long now, I don't think anybody's going to object - except perhaps Bob himself, although I'd say he'd rather 'Sir Bob' than 'Saint Bob' any day. Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.

Why Prince Charles anyway? He's not the only "real" Prince. Repo Man's got all night, every night.
