A Case of U - appreciation thread I just wanted to say i really love this track off the One Nite Alone piano album.
Kind of in the same vein as Goodbye and Reflection. A brilliant little song buried on an obscure album - just goes to show how good he is. I'd love to hear it live. Has he ever played it? Does anyone know? I'm testing postive 4 the funk | |

He also played it on most shows of the ONA tour. The kind of laid-back funky part that is faded out on the record features solos by Prince and Renato live. | |

Does anyone know? You Do know it's a Joni Mitchell song... right? Nonetheless... yes, It is a beautiful song.... He played it at the ONA show in NYC Electric.... not on the keys and it was just as cool... shoot, he could play it on a tin can and it would still be cool.... I would love to hear the '83 First Ave version.... | |

Some people hate Betcha By Golly Wow and La La La (means I love U) but I think they really showcase his amazing voice, which you tend to forget since he's such a good songwriter too.
