What was with the contraversey with the Cinniman Girl video?

The girl in the vid was an alienated Middle-Eastern teen (in post 9-11 America).
She turns to terrorism, almost blows up an airport, but
changes her mind when she thinks of all the innocent people
that would die.

It's kinda self-explanatory though, if you see the video.

What controversy, no-one ever saw it

Well witht he lyrics you'd think that he was talking about a black.white girl dealing with being racialy mixed.

It was clearly just to create controversy, but it clearly could have been done more effectively and with less corn.

that's how i always viewed the line anyway.

And well being that it's called Cinnamin Girl i thought her skin was Cinniman due to her being black and white.
