I'm not the jealous type of husband so, I'm not mad at Rhonda for going out and chillin' with Prince. I know that they're just friends. I appreciate all the kind comments made about my wife on the thread. I guess I know how to pick em' Blue

Actually, it was Wendy who said that to Lisa. The highlight of the night was "Around the World In A Day" being sung by Lisa and guitar played by Wendy. Prince did not perform and if he did, would u believe any1 who was there and told u they saw all 3 of them on stage 2gether again?
That wasn't the highlight for this Wendy & Lisa fan -- a high point, yes, but "Stay", "This is the Life", "Waterfall", and "LET'S SAY" were the highlights. And as someone greatly vested in the power of 3, yes it did make me extra super duper happy to be in the same room with the 3 people whose music and body of work has had a profound affect my life. You heard that one live? I'm jealous

You heard that one live? I'm jealous It was a nice show. Different vibe than the Pacifico shows. A lot less "funky" and more intimate. A lot of laughing and Lisa talked a lot. ATWIAD was a great song to play, but the highlight for me was them singing MOTHER OF PEARL over the phone to a friend who just had a baby named Pearl. It was the next song after ATWIAD as I recall. MY LIFE was also a nice touch for the night. Prince did stick around after the show and sat in his booth. I don't remember anyone bothering him and he was laughing and smiling with whoever he was with. Obviously it would have been cool to see him get up there and play with them again but many of us went to see Wendy and Lisa. Seeing Prince play with them would have been frosting, but the cake was good enough without him on the stage. The expanded version of my book PRINCE and The Purple Rain Era Studio Sessions 1983-1984 was released in November 2018. not sure if these things were mentioned but the friend who had just had a baby was Paul Thomas Anderson (Magnolia, Punch Drunk Love) and I got the impression Around The World In A Day was a tribute to David Coleman who co-wrote (as well as the acknowledgement of Prince).... Space for sale...

Or perhaps Jonathan Melvoin who's doing vocals and playing tambourine on ATWIAD. Or maybe both. Repo Man's got all night, every night.

Or perhaps Jonathan Melvoin who's doing vocals and playing tambourine on ATWIAD. Or maybe both. possibly..but wendy always mentions jonathan when dedicating something to him. lisa rarely gets personal...(well, except for her political statements of late)..the fact that nothing was said prior to ARWIAD being performed leads me to think it was for dave and prince. if memory serves lisa has only talked publically about david once..the night ofer her birthday..and it was very difficult for her to share what she was feeling..it was a sad yet beautiful moment that lead to one of the Pacifico's shows highlights, her singing "ive got a big bowl of cherries"...the crowd went crazy.... "Dirty homos?" Yeah, since when was it cool to be calling people names? WE ain't any dirtier than U heteros! (and yeah, I expect some lip, from some of U, but I didn't start it!) I think it's GREAT PRINCE is Getting Out and having a SOCIAL LIFE as We ALL SHOULD and Seeing a Great Group Wendy and LISA. Why does Mani or Larry have to be his ONLY COMPANY nd Why would That Mean TROUBLE in Paradise with Manuela? I Seriously Don't go out EVERYWHERE with a BOYFRIEND or Friend and it Doesn't Mean we are On the OUTs. Speculation is STUPID!

I can understand everywhere with the other mate but It seems like Mani hasn't been seen anywhere with Prince in some months now. Matter fact quite a few months. So whats up with that???

I am NOT Prince or Mani's PUBLICIST. I Cannot SPEAK For Them. I have No IDEA. It is possible to have a Marriage where one person is one place and another somewhere else. I read Mayte used to be in SPAIN while Prince was in MINNIE. I think they are BOTH Gorgeous People and if they Want to Tell us something they will.
