jonylawson	I still maintain that this is the most moving piece yet put onto film.... prince-a musical portrait when miles is talking and it segues into THE LADDER soundcheck.....phew man what i wouldnt do to see that full limelight docu!

hailzeon44	Yeah, Thats definently the best part of the documentary (i think its omnibus). I never really like The Ladder cause i thought the whole intro was dumb but then i saw this vid and was really opened to how musical this piece can be...he shows off so much emotion with the blue piano...plus i think that lovesexy is the best! Anyone know which soundcheck this is from?

jonylawson	LA....the musical portrait was a ten minute "teaser" for the proposed full docu that never appeared though some pieces were used for the omnibus documentry a few years later

I wish we could see the whole song performed in that rehearsal. The teaser was awesome.
