Just curious if he plays the Joni Mitchell song much in concert. I know both times I have attended a prince show (Calgary-Jam of the Year) and Regina (One Night Alone) , I have been lucky enough to hear this gem. Am I truly lucky, or is it a frequent occurence. Perhaps he plays it because he is in Joni's old stomping grounds?

He played it regularly on ONA concerts

I know he played it as far back as 1983, during the gig where the live tracks for Purple Rain were recorded I believe.

He also played it in 2002 acoustically at the celebration.

But I don't think it was a common song until after he recorded it on the ONA album and the following ONA tour.

Yes , that concert was recorded on 8-3-1983 it was a benefit concert for the
Minnesota Dance Theater , one of P's best performances ever , imo
