I was looking all over, but couldn't find the song "Father's song" off of Purple Rain, I heard it was on the original album, but seeing as how I can't get a hold of it, I was hoping someone may have a hold of it and allow me to download. I am also looking for (but don't know if it exists) a piano version of Purple Rain, I thought it was real emotional when Prince played it before the big performance. Thanks!

'Father's Song' was never officially released. In the film of course you see his 'father' performing it on the piano, and the tune is incorporated into 'Computer Blue'. I've never heard of an available studio boot of this song. Very rarely he performed it live, you can find the odd staticky live boot version floating around.

I'm not aware of a purely piano version of Purple Rain existing, studio or live. Sorry.
