Classic B-Side. Listen to it quite regularly, especially the extended mix. Oh, the drums and guitar are to kill for! Ooh, little darlin' if you're
free 4 a couple of hours (Free 4 a couple of hours) If U ain't busy 4 the next 7 years (Next 7 years) Say, let's pretend we're married and go all night

Man, this song is crazy. I listened 2 it 2day. 1 of Prince's greatest B-sides, way better then Rasberry Beret I might add. This track is fire, sweet as hell! Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.

I LOVE that song i don't own the extended version anymore....everytime i listen to the B-sides short-ass version, i just keep on going even though it has faded out.....I MUST do research on getting the extended version once again.....i thought i would die when i heard him perform it live....unfortunately i don't remember if it was the 'One nite Alone' Atlanta tour or 'Musicology' Atlanta (second show).....somebody help me.....i have a bad habit of mixing up performances..... I love it. The extended mix is what did it for me. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Yeah especially when his voice gets more desparate at the end, this is aural ecstacy folks.. Thank god for the bootleg! 17 Years ago I made a commitment to Prince

What's up with the little riff from "Sex Shooter?" Was it meant to be an allusion?

It was recorded at the same time that the riff was added to Sex Shooter. So it's impossible to say which song had the riff first. It's quite likely that Sex Shooter borrowed the riff from She's Always In My Hair, rather than the other way round!

I love this song. I used to play it to death. Does anybody know who it may have been written for?

It wasn't written 'for' anyone in particular, but it was written 'about' Jill Jones.
