Although Prince seemed to shy away from TV interviews over the years, I realized that he has done quite a few. Not only that, but some of his onscreen moments are pretty funny! (whether he meant them to be, or not) I want to know, what Prince TV moment really made you laugh?

One moment that came to my mind was his Good Morning America interview in the late 90's to Promote New Power Soul. In the middle of the interview, he suddenly pulled out a HUGE cracker from his pocket, and took a loud, crunchy bite as the interviewer was talking! I laughed so hard as the guy just stared at him with a "what are you doing?" look on his face. Prince said, with his mouth full, and crumbs falling on his shirt, "Sorry. I didn't have breakfast." The interviewer looked pretty shocked and said, "We can get you something better than a cracker, let's at least get you some cheese to go with that." (Which was pretty funny considering Prince is a vegan.) Then, they cut to commercial!

Only Prince could pull off something like that!

when he slapped himself in the face with the microphone on the 1985 grammy awards.
I laughed until I peed on my couch.
1985 was a very yellow year for me.

There are many funny moments I can think of, but the most recent one that made me really laugh was at the Oscars earlier this year when he butchered the names at the podium. It was so obvious he wasn't prepared 4 it, and it just made him look human after all.

I was rolling all over the floor with that one too. He jacked up them names like it was cool. Then you could see his face after he said them, he had that "ooops" look. Too Funny.

and the cracker-eating incident on good morning america i remember totally, i watched that when it first aired...classic stuff. it creased me up when the interviewer offered prince some cheese to go with the cracker...ol' boy went, "cool!"

I thought Prince on the Tonight Show along with Mel Gibson was a funny moment.

You could tell he really wanted to talk seriously with Mel and Mel looked a little scared.

On the 1995 AMAs when they were celebrating the 10th anniversary of We ARe the World and Quincy tried to get O(-> to sing...he shoved his lollipop in Quincy's face

I still think he was 2 funny back in 96 on the Rosie O'Donnell show. All that mess about "Taffy" and him throwing those little nerf ball things into the audience. It was cute.

The Oscars this year were so wrong...

Also when he was on some show with Mayte and the interviewer asked him a question and he whispered to Mayte to tell the interviewer, "From yo mamma". Does anyone remember that? What show was that on?

Umm well remember when that guy from Frankie goes to hollywood said "I had phone sex with this man last night...PRINCE!" and the camera pans over to Prince's annoyed face??? I'm sorry I couldn't help but laugh out loud...it was kinda funny. Though Prince looked SUPER pissed.

I also liked when P. showed off his brand spankin' new clear, light-up heels, all proud like a little kid. Then he said he'd brought a pair for Leno. I wouldn't be surprised if he actually had.

He's so adorable. I wish I saw the cracker thing!

Go back to January 1980, on American Bandstand, they've played 'Lover' and Why u wanna treat me so bad, Dick Clark says "How many years have u been a musician, Prince holds up 4 fingers.

During the Opra Interview, She asked him if he felt as though he had grown any (Spiritually) and he stood up and said no I think I'm about the same Size.

But I think my personal fave was an Australian TV interview he gave a year or two back, when Maceo started praising Prince's musical prowess to the heavens, and Prince calmly turned and said: 'The pay's still the same Maceo...'

That had me cracking up.
