Possessed, Excellent As much as I like the song, I am refering to the book which I finally got my hands on. Borrowed it from the library, with lukewarm expectations. It blew me away. How did Hahn manage to break down the barriers of the reclusive Prince. Awesome details about the nuances of Prince's life. Unheard of stories. I presume it was all quite factual. Of course it tarnished my image of Prince the man a tad, but I was never nieve enough to believe he was a saint or always fair with people.
Although the author may have argued the theme of his book a bit (the downfall of P in the 90s), he did provide some very good argumentation to suggest P was in a freefall from the 80s, Even though he did produce some excellent music even then. Anyway very entertaining, well written read. Was a bit disappointed to read about his financial probs in the 90s, I had heard previous about money probs prior to Batman. Hope he is far out of that hole now. He is no Wacko Jacko (I hope!) merf |

Why did you hate it. I am guessing your hero was painted in a negative color? Did it not expose you to an inside scoop on P? Did you figure he had dubious sources. Easy to say you hate something, a little more challenging to explain why? Curious in Alberta! PS Prince really should do an advice column, that would rock merf |
