I've always found it curious that of the men straight guys say they would go gay for or admit being attracted to, the two most frequently named are Prince and Brad Pitt. Why is that? Is it something about their personas, a mystique or mystery about them, or that they have feminine features or qualities, either physically or in their image.

Someone started a version of this thread a few months ago, but one can no longer reply to it. I also started a similar thread in the General Discussion forum but it didn't get much traction, so I thought I'd post it here because it may get more discussion going in the Prince forum in that it is a question about Prince.

Im straight and have often dreamt that Prince and I have had sexual relations.....the weirdest thing though is that he has a vagina and a penis for genitalia!

In the early 1980s, when Prince was very mainstream in the R&B world and loved by the general R&B public, I used to be fascinated by the way that so called straight men used to look at Prince. They never really said anything but there was just a certain way they used to look at him. They were very protecting of Prince too. If someone called Prince a name like "fag", they would get their ass beat. These men didn't play when it came to Prince. It was a very fine line of "do they want to have sex with him" or "do they love his music so much that they don't care how feminine he is and will protect his name". He was very well loved in those days.

In the 1990s to the present, I saw the exact opposite. As the hip hop era emerged, so called straight men these days look, dress, and act overly butch like they have something to prove (most of them have skeletons in their closet that they like to keep hidden). Prince, today, is hated by these men and is called every name in the book.

It looks to me like some people are getting there admiration/hero worship muddled up with other feelings they have.I'm straight and worship the ground that prince walks on.It doesnt mean that i want to sleep with the guy just because he is a musical god.People need to get fan worship into proper perspective here.I love the Female form just like prince does and i have no fear in admitting that i like the woman/female form so much that i like feminine Transexuals.But i dont like guys and im sure that my idol prince also doesnt like men.that really is a step too far.

yes i would vainandy.it doesnt make me gay to admit it as the transexual would have to be 100% convincing as a lady.Im understanding of there predicement as im a good guy.But im just as likely to sleep with the born a lady lady sitting next to her.but men in general i dont fancy and never will.

i am still straight as i find men generally disgusting.Transexuals can hold a lot of facination for men just like lesbians do.Ive researched this whole thing and asked myself all the relevant questions.I hate men but love transexuals with or without the added bonus downstairs.lesbians and normal woman are cool too.

Trannies are a totally different thing from a genuine t/s.Research the whole thing and dont let the ignorance win.Investigate why a t/s that looks a 100% real would hold so much facination for someone who has had loads of straight conquests,and it seems to me that the transgender community is misunderstood.There are straight men out there who find happiness with a woman with a dick.

Interesting Question: Brad Pitt and Prince - I think the two can be put into the same category, even though they are seemingly sexually opposite. I think the reason both are the object of sexual attraction among many straight man isn't because of their femininity, but because of their sexuality. I won't speak about Brad Pitt, but I think the same could be said of him -- but PRINCE - his sexuality is completely universal.

If you're a woman, well, of course that attraction is apparent -- you wanna sleep w/ prince. If you're a man, however, that attraction looks more like appreciation. You don't necessarily want to have sexual relations w/ prince so much as you want to be around him, experience beauty the way he does, and experience sex in the universal and complete way: something our society neglects and that many people never have.

....and leave Prince outta this thread. There's no such thing as a "straight" man who likes Prince sexually (except Prince).

Some straight men seemed attracted to Prince in the eighties and it's interesting to note that the other guy who shared that distinction was George Michael. This is not just one person's opinion. On a couple of occasions, people have remarked on how a straight friend or family member would look at these guys. My theory is that they are pretty boys that are not imposing physically and appear to be easy to dominate.

I dont think its posible. How can a heterosexual guy be sexually attracted to another man, period? That would make them eith gay or bi. So no, i dont think a sr8 man can be sexually attracted to Prince, (now if prince was a woman, that would be a differnt story but he's not)

the Kinsey scale of sexuality says that only 10% is either totally striaght or totally gay. 80% lives on a scale of bisexuality.
