So, while doing the wrecka stow crawl during the MPLS Invasion, I came across this casette for cheap. I had never seen anything like it and the spelling error cracked me up so I HAD to buy it.



The tape itself says "made in Germany for WEA UK" so I'm betting this is one of those unapproved releases, just a real classic version.

So, what weird things like this have you added to your collection?

side B : this is not music, this is a trip.

My friends are dying for me to sell it.

There's a few compilation albums on which WEA licensed Prince tracks too - not many though...


This one's from 1988 and contains I Wish U Heaven


This one's from 1990 and includes Thieves In The Temple

I've seen Purple Rain on a few "rock legends" types of compilations. Also saw a U.S. various artists hits album with Scandalous on it. I think Cherish by Madonna is on it too, but I can't remember what it was called.

The German TV station RTL released a X-Mas album either last year or the year before and it features Another Lonely Christmas.

I Wish U Heaven made a HITS compilation?! DAMN, that's a stretch

Talking of compilations, I'm sure Prince is on a few Brit Awards compilations - Sexy MF is on 1993,

I got a offfical prince video collection from wb. Its called "nothing compares 2 him". I think its a 1990 tour souviner vhs. It included rare videos like the freaky "paisley park" "glam slam" "batdance" and "partyman", though it does miss out some aswell?

I'm sorry, I'm not really sure how to get the picture up!!!

It's a German cassette for the album '1999' with only nine tracks, but including two tracks not available on the cd release (at that time)
