So, I was watching "Girlfriends" last night and sippin' on some purple Kool-Aid.

During one of the last scenes, when Maya, Joan and Lynn are sittin in Joan's restaurant, there was a song playing that sounded like a loop of Prince's "Sleep Around." It was a similar beat, with a loop of someone singing, "Do it/Do it" over and over. It sounded remarkably similar to the "stacked" vocal that opens the song. (Do it like she like...) I sat up straight, nearly spilling the purple Kool-Aid, wishing those yappy broads would shut the hell up so I could get a better listen.

Did anyone else catch this?

I never bothered watching this show when it debuted and I may occasionally catch it on reruns, I'm more surprised Kelsey Grammer from FRAISER has producer credits on this show. Is it really that good?

I didnt hear the song either but i know Toni (Jill Jones) is a Prince fan and she said on this show I think Sharon Osbournes talk show that she met him and got all bubbly and stupid... i thought that was funny and cute cuz shes all grown actin like a teenage fan...well,like me.

I heard that Rachel True aka Mona is Diana Ross' other daughter but I looked that up and couldnt find that but i read she is Verona Barnes step daughter I think shes an actress.
