The lost Graffiti Bridge videos... Why oh why did they omit releasing the "Latest Fashion" video on the Graffiti Bridge DVD as a special extra? The dance off between Prince and the Time is hawt!!! Seeing Morris and the gang breaking into the Oak tree and Chili Sauce dance steps was priceless. P and the Time singing the song the way they do together certainly made more sense after viewing the video.
On another related note, what the heck are these modern dance folks in the black leotards from the edited "Question of U" segment supposed to represent? I can't make out the symbols that appear on their shirts. Anyone with a cleaner copy able to figure it out? Finally, P looks hilarious in the "Can't Stop This Feeling I Got" video clip. It looks like a bollywood musical number the way he is dancing around. Haven't seen a dog make a cameo in a P video before

Haven't seen a dog make a cameo in a P video before from what i remember of the original script those symbols r music notes, the question of u scene (i THINK) was when arua was revealing him a song or something, and he would call on the diff. notes and they'd make the sound. something like that Yesterday is dead...tomorrow hasnt arrived yet....i have just ONE day...

Angel
Tsk, tsk, naughty boy. She motions for him to follow her. She climbs the ladder that is situated in the middle of the room. We cut to the interior of the Kid's club and see the Angel climbing thru the trap door on the stage. The Kid's living quarters, it seems, is directly below the stage. The Angel laughs and dances out of the club into the back near the white wall. The Kid follows like a baby at Christmas. So shocked he is to find several people standing around a black baby grand piano. The people are dressed in blue body suits. Their heads and faces are covered by a strange hood. Everyone of them have the name of a chord written across their bodies. M-7th, dB, Major 9th etc. The Angel smiles and beckons the Kid to take his place at the piano. He rubs his eyes again. He thinks he's dreaming. He may be. The Kid sits at the piano. She runs to the stairs by the wall and paints over the lyric to make room for more. The Kid looks to the chords standing before him. The are motionless. He strikes a chord on the piano. One of the chords in front of him begins to dance. He strikes another chord. Another member of the group begins to dance. The Angel is applauding in delight. The Kid understands and begins to play a beautifully uplifting piece designed to get all the chords dancing at once. They do so. The Angel starts to dance. The Kid smiles at her. Experimenting, he plays one strange chord and the another. The chords begin to crash into each other. The Kid likes this. His piano playing begins to take on a discordant quality. Each chord stranger than the one previous. The dancing chords are really in disarray now. The Angel looks upset. She knows the Kid is enjoying being in charge of the chaos and she teasingly begins to cry. The Kid looks to her. The piano stops. All the dancing chords fall to the ground. The Kid What is the answer? The Angel runs to the paint brush and begins writing. She writes: Now what is the answer to the question of you? She motions for the Kid to resume playing. He does so and sings as well. Adding a line -- The Kid (singing) Now what is the answer to the question of you Now what must I look for, Now what must I do? The Angel is painting every word. She adds a line -- Which way do I turn when I'm feeling lost? She turns to him. The Kid (singing) If I sell my soul, Now what will it cost? Unbeknownst to the Kid, who is deep into the song, the dancing chords have begun the most beautiful ballet ever seen. Their bodies entwine and caress each other. They come apart, spin wildly only to return to each other's caress. The Kid sings as the sound of orchestrated strings fill the morining air. The Kid Must I become naked no image at all Must I remain upright, or get down and crawl. The Angel, pleased with what she's done, dances down the street with the chords following. As they pass Melody Cool's club, Melody peeks her head out of the window. She then looks at the Kid whose immersed in music. She shakes her head. It's obvious she cares about the Kid. As he completes his song silence brings his eyes to the wall. It is filled with lyrics to a new song entitled "The Question Of You." there ya go! answer 4 ya! heres the link to the whole script, i would've LOVED to see THAT movie, i think they got purple rain too [urlhttp://corky.net/scripts/graffitiBridge.html[/url] Yesterday is dead...tomorrow hasnt arrived yet....i have just ONE day...

Why wasn't the extended video of 'Thieves in the Temple' not included on the dvd? The version that's on the dvd now is already in the movie itself...

According to "The Vault" there is a video segment for the song "Graffiti Bridge" that made its way to the cutting room floor. Let us pray that it never materializes

Wow, this could get kinda rough given how much some people really hate this flick. My view on Prince's third and final motion picture to date is that it is a flawed attempt to create a sequal of sorts to Purple Rain. You have the "Kid" and his NPG now running a club called "Glam Slam" which Billy left to him when he died. The Kid's dad is indeed dead and mom is now institutionalized (boy and I thought things ended well at the conclusion of Purple Rain.) Apples is not mentioned at all but Morris and the Time are the local power which threatens to take over all of the local independent clubs (including the Kid's.) Basically an angel enters into the Kid's life and shows him the way to ultimately overcome his demons and in doing so leads to a resolution of the Morris/Kid feud. BTW, the gal who had a crush on the Kid during Purple Rain (the server who worked at Billy's club) ended up getting the Kid after all. At least they are a couple at the beginning of this movie Wonder how Apples lost out to Jill Jones? Oh yeah, some scary lady who thinks she can rap is Morris' lady in the film I'm sure someone else will fill in some of the gaps that I did not address in my summary of the film.

Yeah A lot of people hate this movie. I don't think they are too fond of Under the Cherry Moon either. I just take them all for what they are.....an opportunity to watch Prince for an hour and whatever at a time mainly and I don't trip on the rest of it. "Why'd I waste my kisses on you baby?" R.I.P. Prince You've finally found your way back home. Well Done.
