is there an alternate/demo/longer version of "319"

snowflake

just asking since there have been some outtakes "released"
from the gold/chaos and disorder era last year and perhaps
there is more out there than we know of yet.

I ask because I've heard live performances of the song and
they sounded more driven and raw. There was some nice work
on guitars thumping sharp and hard sounding almost like an
intentionally distorted drumcomputer (im not making sense)

anyway, i'd compare that live version i heard to the first
versions of "Endorphinmachine" compared to the released on
the album version that sounds restrained, and too full.

blablabla yada yada...STELLAAAAAH.....all i wanted to ask
is if anyone has heard another version or knows of one.

thank you

There's a rehearsal from may 6, 1994. Recorded in the Canal+ studio's in Paris.

Almost every song on TGE sounds better live...IMHO.

Studio versions of some Gold era tracks were released to, I beleive, a Dutch radio station and made their way to a bootleg entitled "Now". There is a version of 319 on that disc which, if you compare it side by side to the 1995 release, has a different sounding snare 'hit'. It seems as though it was remixed one more time before its offical release.
