I seem to have been corrected on a few lists ..... let me remark though that


1) (clean) & count as the same album

2)Lovesexy tracked or not ..... 1 album !!

3)Very best of ..... i 4got about coz its SHIT !! ..... WB's released rubbish ,only thing of P's i never bought .....

4)NPS is an NPG release & i didnt mean to include it ..... 4 the record i have all the NPG albums (Exodus is by far the best 1)

5)Girl 6 ? must b counted as a PRINCE album as i dont see what else it can b (ok ,its a collection of songs old & newer but thats what an album is ..... a collection of tunes)

6) ONA live ..... i was not splitting into 3 , but if u have 2

7) ONA piano solo ..... i didnt list as u only own it if u r a NPGMC member (i am) or have paid a vast sum of money on ebay 4 it !

8) TCI & Xpectation & TSH i never listed coz they r download only ,but yeah ..... of course i have them along with many DVD's , Videos, & Rare CD's

9) Maybe i should have included "The Crown Jewels" (WB Promo) in my list ..... who has that ?? A much more worthy Cd than the very best of

Have them all, and then some! Madhouse 8/16 are expensive standards but when you narrow it down you need them and the Hit N Run singles are a must, but I guess the downloads of those singles would work also. If your missing out on some of the full length cds, treat yourself to some good music!! Go Buy up what your missing.
Some folks go on and have 1000s of dvd/cd boots but I haven't gone that far..heck I live in a small apartment, where do I put it all!

I owned every tape up until PARADE, then when I swapped over to CD, I didn't buy Contreversy, Prince, and Dirty Mind.

Also in the 90's it was hit-or-miss as to whether I would buy his albums.

Frankly , some of it sucks.

But when he's good, he's fucking good!!

All of them up to Emancipation, minus Crystal ball, I cut off after that, also several singles and vinyl records up to Purple Medley 1995, 1991-96 was my hardcore Prince period, dormant until 2001, 2003 and now 2005.
Also have cheap and nasty bootlegs I bought in 97, one has 1985 Syracuse concert, 1985 taped interview "I need love and water", one with outtakes and soundtrack songs like 100MPH Prince version, Good Love, Old friends 4 sale, and that hideous 94 East album (2 disc set 2001 boxed issue).

Also books, Prince a documentary by Per Nilsen (1993 Update), Prince by Steven Ivory (1985) very cheap Purple Rain era ghost written bio, A guide to Princes music by Geoff Brown, 1995, Slave to the Rythmn by Liz Smith (1998), and Prince a pop life by Dave Hill, also 1992 Euro tour poster, 1988 Lovesexy tour promo poster, Prince kneeling in front with Polka dots, and large Graffiti Bridge poster (now missing)

I have all the ones listed in the original post.

I have all of them exept Goldnigga (which is a NPG.) I would consider NewPowerSoul a Prince album since he's on every single lead vocal on that album. Chocolate Factory, Slaughterhouse, and C-NOTE I won't consider "official" until they are released in traditional format or by mail order. I do have One Nite "Piano" and Xpectation downloaded. Rave In2 is what we'd call a "Special Edition" so it doesn't count as a separate album (unless you're a "completist" freak (and I mean that in a good way!!!)

Needless to say, I do intend to get everything above as they are on my perennial wish list...

Ok going by your rules on Lovesexy and (ignoring the crown jewels for the moment) and counting in all 3 NPG albums and both Madhouse, I count 44 official albums out of which I have 39 and am currently bidding on the 40th on ebay. (Was U Make My Sunshine considered an EP?)
