Do u own every Prince album I thought it was pretty much standard arrangement to own every album by an artist you like ..... LoL , maybe thats y i have such a vast CD collection !! 
But anyway, after reading many threads on here & seeing orgers say such things as ..... "i dont own emancipation " ..... or " i dont have a copy of Come" etc ,etc ..... i wanted 2 find out just how many people have complete album cllections for the purple 1 ? I mean ..... For u Prince Dirty Mind Controversy 1999 PR ATWIAD Parade SOTT Lovesexy Batman Grafitti B D & P 
Hits/B sides Black Come Gold Ex Crystal Emancipation Chaos & Disorder Girl 6 O/S NPS vault TRC Raveun2 ONA Musicology News U get the idea ..... i'm not talking about all the bootlegs or even the EP type singles ..... ak, Gett Off & Thieves in the Temple etc ..... just the official albums he has released as i was pretty shocked that some people dont have certain albums ,i understand of course that some of these albums were very expensive when they were released (i paid 45gbp when Crystal Ball was released, around $75) but most can now be picked up relatively cheaply on ebay . i only have the first 4 albums (by choice), a few singles on vinyl and a bunch of bootleggage (and NO, you may not ask me for any of it).

I have everything but NEWS and CB..although I'm not sure why I don't have them. I'm working on the video collection now.
As far as rare ones go, I have brand new mint condition sealed copies of Black and Gold...I'm saving them for my kids when they get big. And yes, Prince is my favorite artist of all time. I've been listening to him since he got started...I can't help but laugh as when i was a kid there was even a time when I wasn't allowed to listen to him along with Black Sabbath - Mom said they would 'poison' my mind and make me want to do drugs!! I have all those, but technically 'Newpower Soul' is a New Power Generation album. If you are including New Power Generation albums then you have to also list 'Exodus' which was released in Europe only. Then there are also the albums that were sold only through mail order like 'Gold Nigga', 'One Nite Alone: Piano' and 'Rave In2 The Joy Fantastic'. | |
