"annie christian" (new version) by Prince this song sounds so punk the way it is (okay, electro-punk if you will), can you imagine if Prince revamped it for the kids of today -- brought the guitar out more, changed the lyrics, made it sound a bit more goth, a bit more angry... oh man! apocalyptic annie, prowling about like a roaring lion. will she find dinner tonight AGAIN?!?

No actually I can't imagine that, because I don't want to. I've had my fill of...remixed, revamped, reworked, remade, processed music and movies! The kids of today have no concept of originality because they are being forced-fed this crap from every angle. Enough already!! Keep Prince out of remake hell, that's no place for him! | |

i love this song! but i wouldnt want prince 2 remake it. he's done all her could do to it imo. if someone where to redo it i'd want a new artist to do it

For the record i always loved Controversy, Sexuality, Lets Work & Do me Baby best ..... but i like it all & if his next album was anywhere near as funky & most importantly so DAMN CONSISTENTLY GOOD as Controversy i would be happy  [Edited 10/12/05 15:45pm] Live4Love
