when the album was first released, i remember an
awfull lot of people were absolutely crazy about
"illusion coma pimp and circumstance". i was one
of them lol. but it's a track that lost it's cool
very quickly. it sounded silly and cringeworthy,
within about 6 months.

i can't even listen to it anymore. interesting
how it ended up eliminated in the third round.
seems like more people felt that way.

in fact, Musicology is probably the one Prince
album with the most cringeworthy songs on it in
my personal opinion.

all of those, I've been unable to listen to for
at least 9 months now. I've tried to listen to
the album in total a few times but I just can't.
And that's never happened to me before with an
album of his since I became a fan in 1988 with
"I Wish U Heaven".

The other songs from it are cool though and I
like them lots. I just wish he'd included some
of those virtual b-sides and stuff on this lp
instead of the lamer material.

Magnificent/United States of Division/S.S.T.
Silver Tongue/Glass Cutter. All are better and
would have made the album stronger imo.

Reflection is as lame as Goodbye.
