Help!! singing lessons! I'm having singing lessons for a while now and I'd like to sing some prince songs aswell. I found some tabs on the internet for my teacher but I can't seem to find the tabs for the song "how come you don't call me anymore".
Can somebody tell me where I should go to find them, please

Hi,
I've given the chords to the song in an earlier post, about 6 months ago. Please check the archive. jazzz

I checked the archive for you, and this is what i came up with. Please let me know what your teacher thought about it. Maybe (s)he has suggestions or other chords.
I worked on the tune a while ago, both on guitar and keys. Since the chords are typical piano chords, try to find some nice sounding voicings on the guitar. Prince plays the tune in Db, but I've written it in C (I guess the key in which Alicia Keys plays it). So if you want to play along with Prince, transpose the whole thing half a tone up (or tune your guitar half a step up!!) ( * means bar line) First part: *___C(no third)___Ab6____Ab+___*___F_____F/G(=G79sus)___* (repeat) suggested voicings (third position): Ab6: Ab, F, C, F Ab+: Ab, F, C, E (don't know the exact name) Second part (bridge): *____F____*___C/E___* *_Dm___Dm/E___Dm/F____F#dim_*____G79sus_____* Third part (second bridge): *___F___*___Abdim___* *___Am____Am7__*___D(7)___* *___Dm__Dm/E___Dm/F___F#dim__*____G79sus___* BTW, C/E means C-chord over E-bass etc. good luck, jazzz [Edited 10/12/05 12:49pm] [Edited 10/12/05 12:55pm] [Edited 10/12/05 12:57pm]
