Im watching Graffiti Bridge, as bad as it is I have seen worse movies at the theatre, I was wondering, while they were making this, did they think it was going to be even half as big as Purple Rain?

Seriously, there should be a Graffiti Bridge Trauma Center for fans who decided to watch the movie against their best judgment and in spite of the numerous warnings from previously traumatized persons who have survived the experience.

Fast forward through the entire movie until you get to the scene where Ingrid Chave'z character gets hit by that vehicle. It's priceless--I crack up just thinking about it. It ALMOST makes GB tolerable.

I should have known when I was the only one in the theatre back in 90, I guess you have to love Prince to like this movie

they were suckered into believing that the success of this movie was just...around...the corner...

to Ps credit he was doing what he felt at the time, so what he failed at something, he is human, just like us

One of the main reasons the movie failed is because the director was comepletely in love with the star.

Graffiti Bridge was really the first time Prince went from being the trendsetter to a trend follower. Poppy rap was the fad of 89 and 90, remember Vanilla Ice It showed to in the intervening years Prince couldn't act.
I am sorry but this shit tested my faith in Prince.
I mean u cant watch it or listen to it 2 day as it sounds dated. You know its a dog when you can listen to Dirty Mind and Sign and they sound great still, but Graffiti Bridge is just tacky

I agree with u it sucked, but D & P bought him back. But Graffiti Bridge was the first step in his of the mid 90's
