Prince & Kanye West

This is a callobo I can see happening clearly, whether he Kanye uses a prince sample or if he decides to have P singing the hook. What do ya'll think?
I ain't saying shes a gold digga (Prince screech here) smile

I think Kanye West is talented and probably the most interesting thing going in hip hop right now. That being said, wishing for Prince and Kanye to collaborate now is like wishing for MC hammer and Prince to collaborate in 1990, or Prince and Puffy to collaborate in 1997. It ain't happening-and I'm glad.

Kanye West is the flavor of the month (as of now) and if he can maintain his pace for 5 or more years I will acknowledge his impact as one of signifigance. For now, he's just a radio darling and a poster boy for how to bash Bush in a mostly uneloquent and unsmooth manner.

I don't think they really need each other. Kanye West is good. I loved the Diamonds are forever sample, but Prince is better on his own.

Writing, producing, composing, arranging and performing songs is great and all, but sampling, now that takes talent. clapping

Prince would never collab with a non-musician. Kanye West is not a musician,he is a thief. What could he possibly do on a song with Prince?

Maybe a song or two at most would work but I don't even see this happening. I would rather see Prince lend his talents to some up and coming "real" vocalists who would be more apt to take on his vision of a song. Kanye is talented but there is no guarantee that putting these 2 giants together would produce gold.

I don't like when two different music genre's collide... I mean in some cases it works, but Prince has his own special flare to his music as well as Kanye. Last summer I saw Prince in concert and also Kanye West and Prince is a way better musician hands down.

I think that they are too arrogant to work together. Their egos couldn't fit in a studio.
