Graffiti Bridge

Im watching Graffiti Bridge, as bad as it is I have seen worse movies at the theatre, I was wondering, while they were making this, did they think it was going to be even half as big as Purple Rain?

Nobody else but Prince believed in it. I love it, though, despite its huge weaknesses

It's so bad it's worse.

Seriously, there should be a Graffiti Bridge Trauma Center for fans who decided to watch the movie against their best judgment and in spite of the numerous warnings from previously traumatized persons who have survived the experience.

OH sweet Jesus my hands shake before I click on Graffiti Bridge threads.

Fast forward through the entire movie until you get to the scene where Ingrid Chave'z character gets hit by that vehicle. It's priceless--I crack up just thinking about it. It ALMOST makes GB tolerable.

Well, what about those of us who talked our friends into watching it with us? There should be GB protection program.

One of the main reasons the movie failed is because the director was comepletely in love with the star.
All good things they say never last...

Do you still have friends? If so, did you buy them all ice cream afterwards to make up for it?

zzz Graffiti Bridge was really the first time Prince went from being the trendsetter to a trend follower. Poppy rap was the fad of 89 and 90, remember Vanilla Ice chair It showed to in the intervening years Prince couldn't act.
I am sorry but this shit tested my faith in Prince.
I mean u cant watch it or listen to it 2 day as it sounds dated. You know its a dog when you can listen to Dirty Mind and Sign and they sound great still, but Graffiti Bridge is just tacky geek

I agree with u it sucked, but D & P bought him back. But Graffiti Bridge was the first step in his falloff of the mid 90's
17 Years ago I made a commitment to Prince

It became one of those dark momments in friendships that aren't spoken of, in order to hold toghether the delicate bond of young friendship. shrug
