Prince played the guitar yesterday... I have no idea if it is true or not but there is a good chance that Prince plays his guitar on a daily basis so I think it was great news for the org community.
On a more serious note, I really sense that fake news and rumours are going to pop all over the org in the next few months as Prince is as usual very secretive about his future projects. What I find really strange is a vast majority of prince fans must be over their thirties now and still show an incredible lack of maturity with fake news and reports. It comes to the point you cannot believe anyone anymore which is a shame. my attitude: if sony's web site or prince's web site reports it, it's true.
when someone says "my friend works at a record store, and..." or "i work in the music industry, and...", it's probably not going to be true, even if the person posting it has the information from what they think are the most trustworthy of sources.

When Prince used to be at WB it was easier to get some info about forthcoming releases. We used to have set lists or even tapes demo tapes circulating on the black market months before the official album was released. Now I think you are right, nobody knows anything about what Prince has in mind. But that would be a lot more fun if we had on npgmc news a la David Bowie. Everyday Bowie or his webmasters find ways to feed his website which makes it a lot more interesting. Begginers practice. Professionals rehearse. "Man, the living creature, the creating individual, is always more important than any established style or system" - Bruce Lee

It's nothing against Prince but everytime I have watched long interviews with David Bowie, I have simply been totally blown away by his intelligence. He is so damn articulate. He explains his ideas and concepts so clearly in such a brillant way. His culture is immense. He kinda always dominates his interviewer who always feel very intimidated by his intelligence as well. Prince is very deficient in his communication which obviously does not mean he is stupid. But he is not what I would call an "intellectual". Bowie is an intellectual. He sometimes tends to overintellectualize his music. Prince is a much more an instinctive person. He may not "verbalize" his intellect in words per se, but it's clearly evident to say the very least!

haha..good one..and right on. speaking of his fans being over 30...why doesn't he take advantage and release some multiple disc dvds of his past tours. I'm talking full shows of Lovesexy, Sign O the times, Act 1 etc. I'm over 30 and I will tell you (listen up Prince!), I'm will to spend $100 on this kind of package...make that $200 if you include some aftershow footage...$500 if it's the 'Small Club' show!!!!
