Prince's songwriting on those three songs beat out anything Michael has ever done. I just don't see anyone could even attempt to put the two of them in the same class of songwriters. | |

I don't think Off the wall is better than thriller, off the wall is kinda cliche, thriller seems to stand on its own while OTW is like a disco funk album from the 70's like many others. | |

Thriller only stands out because it sold so many copies. I also think Off The Wall is the better album. It kick started Michael's solo run. The best song on Thriller to me is "Wanna Be Startin Somethin". | |
